  1. Doctor Says FEMA Ordered Him to Stop Treating Hurricane Victims - In the midst of administering chest compressions to a dying woman several days after Hurricane Katrina struck, Dr. Mark N. Perlmutter was ordered to stop by a federal official because he wasn't registered with the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
  2. Letter from Volunteer Doctor: FEMA Has Totally Politicized the Relief Effort - What is not widely known is – and I can verify this personally - that FEMA is *preventing* certain groups and individuals from participating in the relief efforts.
  3. Like 9/11, Physicians Obstructed in Katrina Relief Effort - So who are these guys who apparently obstructed physicians on the ground in Nawlens and led me to understand when I attempted to offer my services by calling the Red Cross who referred me to this site that I needed to register on this site before I could volunteer? By the way, when I attempted to register, the site advised me I wasn't authorized to enter the site!
